Hi, I'm Arda. I'm a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Virginia (Class of 2029). Most of my work is computational fluid dynamics: building meshes, running simulations, and figuring out what the results can and can't tell you.
As an undergraduate researcher with the SAGEST Center, I built pure-hexahedral multiblock meshes of a Mach 12.6 maneuverable reentry vehicle for a fourth-order finite-volume solver. On Hoos Flying's aero sub-team, I run the CFD on this year's blended wing body.
In 2025-26 I also iterated front-wing geometries in Fusion 360 and ANSYS for Virginia Motorsports.
